One thing we deal with as black women that kills our ability to go forward with our goals and aspirations is, the never ending battle between ourselves and the thoughts and feeling that tell us we are not good enough.

These two cousins (thoughts and feelings), keep us in our comfort zone and prevents us from taking that leap of faith needed, so we can stop playing small and go into the world and attract all the great opportunities that God has in store for us. We miss out on meeting good people, exploring great places and having new experiences in our lives. You know what happens when we are not confident in ourselves? WE LOSE. We lose career opportunities, business ventures, potential romantic and platonic relationships, goals and dreams, the opportunity to expand our professional network, etc., ect., ect.

Now, I believe, that you have to exude confidence everyday of your life. You have to believe that you can exude effortless self confidence and put your game face on whenever the time calls for it. So....to help you master this art of Self Confidence, I have 3 great tips that will help you show up in your life as your authentic Boss Lady Self. I'm about to bless your life Queen. You ready?

1. CREATE A POWERFUL SHOW STOPPING MANTRA.

In order to exude confidence, you have to feel good about yourself ALL THE TIME. I know that this is hard sometimes when you allow those negative thoughts to take over your mind. What you need to realize is that you are having a toxic relationship with your mindset and if it is not fixed, it will take control of you. You have to be mindful of the chatter that goes on in your head. What we not gonna do is continue to beat ourselves up. Instead we are gonna counteract those thoughts with something uplifting. "I'm Beautiful", "I got this", "I am ready for my light to shine", "I am not afraid because I was born to be fearless", "I deserve success". Positive sayings will always keep negative thoughts at bay. It will help you to condition your mind to believe that you are good enough and you can do whatever you say you can do.

2. ASSUME THE BEST

The worst thing you can do when you need confidence is to think about the worst case scenario and expect failure from the start. Lord, I am a living testimony of this, right here. I use to play the scene out in my head and saw the devastation before I even planned the event and that was enough to discourage me to not go forward. The truth of the matter is, our thought become things. If you go into a situation expecting to fail, then Congratulations Sis, you just manifested your own demise. How about you keep that same energy and manifest something positive in your life. Stop setting yourself up for failure and start setting yourself up to succeed. How? Girl, I am glad you ask. Start assuming the absolute best. Keep your thoughts focused on all the ways that things can go exceptionally well. Assume that everyone is going to gravitate to you. Assume that you will say all the right things. See yourself getting the respect you want and deserve. See yourself living your best life and getting the desires of your heart. More than likely, it will manifest itself before your eyes.

3. DRESS FOR SUCCESS

On those days when you don't feel good about yourself or you are feeling unattractive, that is a great time to play dress up. It is a must that you take extra care of yourself during this period. My go to is make-up. I will go on YouTube and find an easy make-up tutorial and try it out. I usually do pretty good, but if I don't then I get a good laugh in and that always brightens my mood. When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, Confidence is bound to show up. By taking care of yourself, you will naturally start to feel better about yourself and that will also help you become more confident in yourself.

Which tip will you be using today? What other ways will you exude confidence when you don't feel confident? Let me know in the comment section.

Peace and Blessing
